Angela Outten

Educational Background

Ms. Outten received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida with honors. She earned her law degree cum laude from Stetson University College of Law in 1993. She is admitted to practice before all the Florida state and federal courts in Florida.

In 2006, Ms Outten had the honor of being admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law by the Florida Bar

Angela Outten is one of fewer than two hundred attorneys in Florida who have been Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Florida Bar. As such, she has been identified as a "specialist" in labor and employment law since 2001. Certification is the highest level of recognition given by The Florida Bar for competency and experience within an area of law.

Angela currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Certification Committee of The Florida Bar. The committee is responsible for evaluating attorneys qualifications and knowledge to determine whether they should be certified in labor and employment law. She was approved as class counsel in a prominent multi-million dollar race discrimination lawsuit.
